YOUNG EAGLES
On Saturday, June 13th, EAA CHAPTER 643 of Pittstown, NJ participated in the annual Young Eagles International Day. More than a dozen pilots with their planes along with dozens of eager young people, were treated (for many) with their first experience in flying a small aircraft.

This event takes place each year in an effort to give young folks the opportunity to experience their first flight in a small general aviation aircraft. This serves to both teach the general public about the avocation of flying as well as hopefully spur the dream in these young people of one day piloting their own aircraft.
